Compatibility issues with Epson printers are often the result of mixing ink cartridges from different manufacturers. If this is your first time using compatible ink cartridges from Chase Ink, we recommend you purchase a complete set to install in your printer and remove all original Epson cartridges BEFORE installing any compatible cartridges. Firmware updates are updates put through your printer by the printer manufacturers (e.g. HP, Epson, Canon etc.). The update can contain code that stops any third-party cartridges from working, so that you can only use original brand cartridges. We advise switching off the automatic update or refuse any update notifications to be able to continue enjoying the savings and performance our compatible cartridges provide.
